He faces the task of creating a model range of high-voltage equipment.

High-voltage frequency-adjustable drives (RFD) with digital control are designed to effectively regulate the speed of medium-voltage AC motors with a stator voltage of 3, 6, 10 kV.

medium-voltage soft starters are used for smooth non-impact acceleration and braking of high-voltage (3, 6 and 10 kV) synchronous and asynchronous drive motors of various mechanisms.

Starter generator control devices are designed for the initial acceleration of an aircraft turbine, gas turbine unit or diesel power plant and control the excitation on it in order to regulate the moment of rotation and the voltage generated.

JSC STC Energia is a resident of the St. Petersburg Special Economic Zone of technical and innovative type of St. Peierburg Novoorlovskaya since 2008. In 2012, a project for the construction of an administrative and production complex in the SEZ was developed. From the same moment, the company began to lease a land plot of 0.75 hectares at the Novoorlovskaya site. The lack of the necessary infrastructure (the responsibility of the SEZ management company) did not allow to start construction until 2014.

In May 2018, V. approved the implementation of the plan of JSC STC Energia for the construction of an administrative and production complex in the SEZ. Investments in the project will amount to 210 million rubles. A third of this amount has already been invested, in particular, concrete and monolithic works on the administrative building in the amount of 1.2 thousand square meters have been completed. The area of production buildings will be 2.9 thousand square meters.

The planned completion date of construction is 2026. The launch of commercial production of high-voltage drives is scheduled for 2027. At the end of May 2018, the administrative and production complex has the form:

STC Energia, together with the parent company of Energocomplekt JSC, produces and supplies high-voltage variable-frequency drives and soft starters (high-voltage drive) to Russian hydropower plants, CHPPs, nuclear power plants and other industrial facilities.

According to the conclusion of the deputy head of the analytical department of the investment company LMS Dmitry Markov (Source: https://www.kommersant.ru/doc/3630869the estimated annual volume of the russian market of drive equipment is about 150 billion rubles, the share of imports is about 40%.

With the appropriate quality, in the conditions of sanctions and import substitution policy, STC Energia JSC has good chances to strengthen its position in this segment of the drive technology market.
