A three-phase dry transformer with open windings impregnated with epoxy resin by the vacuum pressure (VPI) method followed by high-temperature drying is made of foil (Al/Cu) or wire.

3/6/10 kV transformers with a capacity of 20 kW to 20 MW are developed taking into account the long-term experience of Energocomplekt JSC in the development, manufacture and operation of excitation systems and medium-voltage variable frequency drives of its own production.

• Interphase barrier and cylinders - fiberglass.
• Conductor - electrical aluminum or copper tape.
• Interturn insulation is aramid Nomex paper.
• The bandage is glass bandage.
• Special impregnation epoxy resin with improved dielectric properties provides consolidation of windings and reliable protection from environmental influences.
• The heat resistance class of the windings is H (180 °C).
• Cooling is natural air. Vertical and horizontal cooling channels are used.
• A specially designed design using non-combustible and fire-resistant materials ensures the absence of partial discharges.
• The collapsible steel casing is covered with powder paint.
• Pt-100 temperature sensors and temperature control unit provide thermal control.

Transformers have smaller dimensions and less noise during operation. These advantages are due to the modern production technology used in the manufacture of transformers. With the modernization of existing RTL and KTP, replacement is possible without reconstruction of premises.
