Purpose of the RZDO reactor
The dry grounding arc-extinguishing reactor of the RZDO type is designed to compensate for the capacitive current of the hydro generator flowing in the stator winding in the event of a single-phase short circuit of the stator winding.
A reactor with open windings impregnated with epoxy resin by the vacuum pressure (VPI) method followed by high-temperature drying. The reactors are developed taking into account the long-term experience of Energocomplekt JSC in the development, manufacture and operation of excitation systems and medium-voltage variable frequency drives of its own production.
The type of insulation of windings is air barrier.
The frame of the reactor is fiberglass.
Conductor made of aluminum or copper wire.
Interturn insulation is fiberglass.
Special impregnation epoxy resin with improved dielectric properties provides consolidation of windings and reliable protection from environmental influences.
Heat resistance class of windings N / H (180 ° C).
Cooling is natural air. Vertical and horizontal cooling channels are used.
Specially designed design using non-combustible and fire-resistant materials, ensuring the absence of partial discharges.
